Police are investigating after a teenager was approached in North Parramatta yesterday.
This comes only two days after a 10-year-old girl was approached in nearby South Granville and 10 days after an attempted child abduction in North Parramatta, involving an eight-year-old girl walking to school.
In yesterday's North Parramatta incident a 14-year-old girl, her sister and two friends got off a bus on Victoria Road, near the intersection of Rippon Avenue, between 3.40pm and 4pm.
Police were been told a man then approached the 14-year-old and spoke to her, before blocking her path several times when she tried to walk off.
The man then reportedly became distracted and turned away.
The girls left the scene and told their parents, who called police.
The man was last seen walking on Victoria Road, back towards the intersection of Rippon Avenue.
Officers attached to Rosehill Local Area Command are investigating.
As they continue their inquiries, police would like to speak to a man who may be able to assist with their inquiries.
He is described as being of Asian appearance, in his late 20s or early 30s, of slim build, short, and with long black hair.
The man was last seen wearing dark baggy clothing, with a white shirt underneath a jacket, and carrying a black backpack with white writing on the front.
Police are urging anyone with information in relation to these incidents to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
