A Sydney Trains employee has been charged for allegedly exposing himself to a female passenger on a train between Blacktown and Lidcombe last month.

It’s alleged the man, 35, was in full uniform when he committed an “act of indecency” in front of a woman, 21, on November 23.

Police said the employee boarded the train at Blacktown train station and sat across from the woman.

He allegedly exposed himself and performed a lewd act.

The woman left the train at Lidcombe and reported the incident to staff, who contacted Police Transport Command officers.

After an investigation, the man was arrested on Wednesday and taken to Parramatta police station.

He was charged with wilful and obscene exposure and committing an act of indecency.

The man was granted conditional bail to appear at Parramatta Local Court on January 17.
