Metropolitan Crash Investigation Unit officers investigate Blaxcell Street crash in Granville

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a crash at Granville which saw five people hospitalised on Monday (December 4).

Emergency services were called to Blaxcell Street at around 5.15pm after a Honda CRV and a Hyundai Elantra collided head-on.

A 36-year-old female driver of the Honda, was taken to Westmead Hospital in a stable condition.

Her passenger, a six-year-old girl, was taken to The Children’s Hospital at Westmead, suffering a broken jaw.

The 36-year-old man driving the Hyundai was taken to Westmead Hospital in a stable condition, suffering injuries to his torso.

The 31-year-old woman in the front passenger seat was taken to Westmead Hospital in a stable condition.

A one-year-old girl, was taken to The Children’s Hospital at Westmead in a stable condition.

Metropolitan Crash Investigation Unit officers are investigating the circumstances leading up to the crash.
