Neil Perry opens Burger Project in Parramatta's V by Crown Group

The sky’s the limit for Neil Perry’s first Burger Project in western Sydney.

It became the first restaurant to open in the ground level plaza of Parramatta’s vertical village V by Crown Group last Friday.

Sun photographer Isabella Lettini was among the first to taste the cheese and bacon burger. "The burger, chips and home made ginger beer takes me back in time to when takeaway food tasted real. It's certainly the way to my stomach,” she said.

More than 220 residents have moved into the $300 million Crown development since the first of its two towers opened last month.

The second tower is due to be completed in May.

The Shed Café, Japanese restaurant  Shakudo and level-26 rooftop bar Nick and Nora’s are due to open later this year. V by Crown will also be home to Parramatta’s first five-star hotel Skye Hotel Suites this year.

Burger Project is at 134–140 Marsden Street.
