Sydney Hotshots tease their way to Toongabbie Sports and Bowling Club

When Hotshots director Paul Reynolds first brought the Sydney Hotshots to the stage in 1996, women across the nation gathered together to rejoice in what can only be described as the ultimate kind of man: toned and fit with bulging biceps and a cheeky twinkle of the eye.

Almost 20 years later, the male troop will celebrate the Sydney Hotshots 20th anniversary.

The Sydney Hotshots shows are known as one of the best options for girls night’s out, hens nights and birthday parties across Australia.

“Interest and attraction is still as prevalent today as it always has been and the enormous success over the past 20 years has led to sell out tours and celebrity status, featuring as guests for television appearances in Australia and internationally. The girls simply cannot get enough,” Mr Reynolds enthused.

“The key to the success of the group was its attention to detail, the constant evolution of the show and the lads love of performing,” he added.

“The guys spend hours perfecting their moves, training to stay in shape and researching new ideas and songs. I believe that it is this sort of ethic — the love for the show and the audience and the level of professionalism our guys bring to the show that makes the Sydney Hotshots so successful.”

Luciano Patches has been with the Sydney group for over a year and said he has never had a dance lesson.

“When the music is that good, you don’t really need to think about it that much,” the former gymnastics coach said.

“You just enjoy the moment of entertaining.”

In celebration of the 20th anniversary, the Sydney Hotshot’s from both past and present will be joining together for their ‘unzipped’ tour and will bring their buff to Toongabbie Sports and Bowling Club on October 21.

A Toongabbie Sports and Bowling Club spokesman said the club are “pleased to announce that as long time supporters of the Cancer Council the Toongabbie show will be raising funds for the worthy cause” and are encouraging members to bring along a donation.

Details: Friday, October 21 from 8.30pm to 10.30pm at Toongabbie Sports and Bowling Club, 12 Station Road, Toongabbie. Tickets: $30. To Book: Call 9624 6230.
