Three times Absolute Tiling Solutions managing director Marco Fahd climbed the stage to accept Parramatta Business Chamber awards and three times he paid tribute to his family and staff.
Mr Fahd made special mention of his father and the advice he had given him over the years.
The Prospect-based businessman picked up three awards at the Western Sydney Awards in Business Excellence; his category, Young Entrepreneur of the Year and the grand prize for Business of the Year.
The team at Absolute Tiling Solution Group of Companies has been dynamic in the Australian tiling industry for more than 15 years.
The business now employs more than 80 people Australia wide and works with some 150 industry-compliant tiling sub-contractors.
They stake their reputation as a market leader predominantly on their ability to provide superior tiling solutions at competitive prices, without any compromise in quality.
“We take great pride in being a one stop shop for our clients, providing a full range of services for what are, in the main, high capital investment projects,” Mr Fahd said.
To maintain this position of repute, they source the bests stone quarries and tile manufactures from overseas, and utilise the latest technologies available in their industry.
Mr Fahd said his team’s main competitive advantage was “based on the nature in which our business operations are structured by having built up strong direct supply relationships’’.
‘‘We import our stone and tiles from abroad directly we are thus able to save intermediary costs, such as storage and insurances, passing-on these savings on to our clients.
‘‘We also have our own manufacturing plants established abroad, allowing us to quickly satisfy orders for tiles of any specification, colour, texture or quantity.”
