Police have released security camera footage of a car they believe may have been in the vicinity of a double shooting in Auburn.

Detectives are still investigating a double shooting in Auburn in August, that was the apparent result of a road rage incident.
A man, 39, and woman, 27, took themselves to the emergency department of Auburn Hospital with gunshot wounds about 5pm on Wednesday, August 15.
Police said they were told the victims were driving in a Toyota Hilux earlier that evening, when they had a minor collision with a black sedan.
The man and woman told police the accident at the intersection of Kihilla and Rawson streets escalated when a fight started between them and the male driver of the other car. The male driver then fired a number of shots at the Toyota before fleeing, police alleged.
The woman was reported to have sustained gunshot wounds to her head and shoulder, while the man was shot in the stomach.
The gunman was described as being of Mediterranean or Middle Eastern appearance.
He was said to have a ‘sleeve’ tattoo on one arm and was wearing dark clothing at the time of the incident, police said.
Detectives have now released security camera footage of a similar vehicle which they believe may have been in the area at the time of the incident.
The vehicle in the footage is a black four-door sedan, with registration believed to start with ‘BZ’.
At the time of the incident, the vehicle may have had damage to the rear bumper, police said.
