Police allege Pendle Hill man victim of extortion

Police have arrested three men who they allege menaced a Pendle Hill resident to extort a large sum of money from him.

The extortion racket had continued for months, police allege, until the victim reported it to police recently.

A mass police operation was launched using Polair, the dog squad, tactical response officers and highway patrol on Tuesday, October 2.

Three men were arrested, police said, and a warrant was issued for a fourth.

The trio were charged with demand money with menace and refused bail to appear at Parramatta Local Court on November 15.
