Police are treating a fire at a commercial building in Auburn over night as ‘‘suspicious’’.
A smash repair business in Chisholm Road was found alight, police said, about 10.30pm last night.
Fire and Rescue NSW were attempting to extinguish the fire when police arrived.
Once the fire was extinguished, forensic investigators established a crime scene.
Police said there was a significant amount of damage to the business.
No evacuations were necessary.
Police said they were continuing their investigations.
