Parramatta police will hold an open day at their Marsden Street station on October 7.
Parts of the station will be open for tours, including the custody area.
The open day will be held from 10am to 3pm to celebrate 150 years of policing in NSW.
It will include activities for the whole family, including a live broadcast from Alive 90.5.
From 11am to 2pm, James Goodwin and Amanda Rose will broadcast live from outside the station and give away prizes.
There will also be highway patrol vehicles, police motorcycles, police memorabilia on display and members of the police rescue, mounted police unit, scene of crime and State Emergency Service officers on hand to answer questions.
No bookings are required, but tours are limited to 12 people at a time.
