What could be more joyous than fashions on the field?

Thousands of women flocked to Rosehill Gardens on at the weekend for the Fashions on the Field.

But it was a female on the racetrack who stole most of the attention.

Superstar mare More Joyous made it 21 wins from 28 starts after claiming the group 3 Golden Pendant.

Not even the small race field of just five horses could detract from the achievement.

The win saw the Gai Waterhouse trained horse bring its total prize money to almost $4.5 million.

Waterhouse continued her dominance throughout the day and also claimed the $250,000 group 2 Stan Fox Stakes.

Despite claiming the trifecta in the first race, Rosehill-based trainer Chris Waller only managed one further winner on the day.

The next race day at Rosehill Gardens will be on October 13.
