Police have released CCTV footage of a man they believe may be able to assist with inquiries into a serious assault in Parramatta earlier this month.
The investigation began on November 4, 2015, when a man was found unconscious at a Brown Street property after reports of a fight at about 5am.
The injured man — 29-year-old Vineshwar Pal — was taken to Westmead Hospital in a critical condition.
He remains in hospital and has not regained consciousness.
Police believe Mr Pal was assaulted by a group of people and are looking to identify all involved in the incident.
Today, Thursday, police released this CCTV footage (see below) of a man they believe may be able to assist with their inquiries.
Anyone with information about the identity of the man, or anyone with other information that may assist with the investigation, is urged to come forward.
