A second person has faced court in relation to 40 alleged car robberies in Guildford.
Between 3:30am and 4am on September 4 a 15-year-old boy allegedly forced entry into 34 cars in the basement car park of unit complexes on Railway Terrace and Mountford Avenue at Guildford.
The teenager and another male allegedly smashed the windows of the cars and rummaged through their contents before stealing an amount of cash and jewellery.
On Wednesday September 5 the 15-year-old boy was arrested and charged.
The teenager faced Parramatta Children’s Court earlier this month.
Yesterday police from Rosehill police station went to a unit block in Wingello Street at Guildford and spoke with an occupant at 8.40am.
A 19-year-old man was arrested and charged with 40 counts of larceny.
The Mount Pritchard man also charged with the unrelated matters of drive conveyance taken without consent of owner, pursuit and an arrest warrant.
He was refused bail and appeared in Parramatta Local Court yesterday..
