Two men are dead after they were shot while sitting in a car in South Wentworthville.

They tried to drive away after the shooting but crashed into a house.

Just before 9.10pm, tonight, August 30, Holroyd police were called to Boronia Street, South Wentworthville following reports of gun shots being fired.

Upon arriving, officers found a Toyota Hilux crashed into a house.
