Penny and Mike Chin’s Parramatta home is a hub of creative inspiration.
The couple, with their roommate artist Haruyo Morita, spent five years planning and designing the ideal home to unleash their creative talents.

‘‘Because it’s very white it’s a bit like a blank canvas,’’ Mr Chin said of their home.
‘‘But then we fill it with artwork and family and friends to give it life.’’
The timeless design and stylish features, including
fourth roommate Eames the schnauzer’s throne in the living room, were inspired by design and architecture magazines and creative art books.
‘‘It’s just about filling the home with beautiful and aesthetically pleasing things,’’ Mr Chin said.
