Wyndham College graduate Jessica Hodge’s HSC visual art major work continues to attract accolades.
She has won a $500 prize from The University of Western Sydney for her work — panels of cancer cells that resemble bright flowers at a distance.
It will appear at the Margaret Whitlam Gallery at UWS Parramatta’s Female Orphan School until September 27.
The exhibition is another ARTEXPRESS showing for Hodge whose work was selected to appear at The Art Gallery of NSW in March.
The exhibition of outstanding works by 2013 HSC Visual Arts students from schools in NSW travels around the state, and each gallery selects their own pieces.
UWS’ selection can be viewed Wednesday to Saturday, 10am-4pm, at the gallery, Building EZ, corner of James Ruse Drive and Victoria Road, Rydalmere.
