Man robbed of mobile phone at Harris Park

A man has been robbed after lending his mobile phone to a stranger at Harris Park last night.

About 7pm (Sunday 17 August 2014), a 22-year-old man was walking on Brisbane Street when he was approached by three male youths.

One of the youths allegedly asked the man if he could borrow his phone to make a call. The man gave it to him and the youth ran away towards Good Street.

One of the other youths then produced a knife and demanded the man’s wallet and watch. The man complied and was told to walk away.

The two remaining youths were last seen turning south onto Good Street.

Police from Rosehill Local Area Command attended a short time later and conducted an extensive patrol of the area, but did not locate the youths.

Detectives would now like to speak with three males who they believe may be able to assist with inquiries.

The first male has been described as being of Indian/Sub-Continental appearance, approximately 175cm tall, with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a black hooded jumper and long pants.

The second male has been described as being approximately 175cm tall, with a thin build and short black hair. He was last seen wearing a jumper.

The third male has been described as being approximately 175cm tall, with a thin build, and last seen wearing a jumper.
