Gangs Squad detectives have arrested an alleged Hells Angels bikie in Westmead after a witness to a shooting was allegedly threatened.
The 23-year-old man was arrested about 8am yesterday, Tuesday July 31, after officers from Strike Force Kinnarra executed a search warrant on his home at Westmead.
He was charged with threatening witnesses with intent to influence and granted conditional bail to face Parramatta Local Court on September 4.
Police said the charge relates to alleged threats made against a witness to a shooting incident at a Parramatta hotel on July 13 which is currently the subject of court proceedings.
Strike Force Kinnarra was established by State Crime Command’s Gangs Squad in April this year to investigate numerous shootings linked to the Hells Angels and Nomads outlaw motorcycle gangs.
