Police have this evening arrested a 21-year-old man, an 18-year-old man and a 16-year-old male in relation to the fatal stabbing of a man at Parramatta last weekend.
They were arrested following a search warrant at a home in Parramatta about 4.20pm today, Wednesday, July 11.
The arrests come as part of an investigation into the fatal stabbing of 22-year-old Patrick Crowe at the weekend.
About 2am on Sunday, July 8, police from Parramatta Local Area Command and NSW Ambulance Paramedics responded to reports a man had been stabbed on Argyle Street.
Upon arrival, they discovered the injured Mr Crowe.
He was taken to Westmead Hospital and underwent emergency surgery but died shortly before 7am.
Police believe Mr Crowe was involved in an altercation with up to four other males when he was stabbed.
This evening’s arrests follow the arrest of a 16-year-old male from Rosehill at 9.30am today, Wednesday July 11.
The teen was charged with affray, refused bail and appeared in appeared in Parramatta Children’s Court this afternoon.
He was granted bail by the court to reappear at a future date.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing and more arrests are expected.
Police would still like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident or any suspicious activity in the vicinity of Argyle Street, Parramatta, early on Sunday morning.
