A 34-year-old woman has been charged with three fraud offences after bank staff alleged she provided false details when granted a $20,000 personal loan.
St George bank staff at a Greystanes branch called police after the woman was granted the loan but handed over suspicious pay slips as a form of identification, police said.
Officers intervened and arrested the woman at the bank counter.
Police allege that the woman had also altered her drivers licence and other documents to provide a false identity.
The accused was granted conditional bail to reappear at Fairfield Local Court on July 11.
