BUSBY Marou are coming to Parramatta to perform at The Collector on Friday, August 21.
The My Second Mistake Tour is hitting venues all over the east coast of Australia and will stopover in Parramatta, bringing Busby Marou's blend of ukeleles, whistles and stories of travel.
Busby Marou's core element on stage, the inter-twining vocal interplay of the long-time pals, is well-renowned.
They will play songs from their newest album, Farewell Fitzroy, which debuted at number five on the Aria charts last year.
If features the first single, Get You Out Of Here, which showcases the acclaimed duo's harmonies.
Another highlight is the second single, Luck, which was co-written with legendary Aussie songwriter, Don Walker, who has partnered with the likes of Cold Chisel, Tex Don and Charlie.
The album — recorded with US producer/engineer Brad Jones (Missy Higgins, Josh Rouse, Justin Townes Earle) in April 2013 at his Nashville studio, Alex The Great Recording, after two solid years of touring the globe — captures their new songs with a full band sound.
Busby Marou have chosen two strong support acts to come with them on the Tour.
Darren Middleton is main support and will play songs from his extensive catalogue including Powderfinger, Drag and his solo work.
Karl S Williams, on guitar and banjo, will open the night.
