Exhibition of classic cars will be a triumph

AROUND 70 classic cars will be on display at the Triumph Sports Owners Association's annual concours next Saturday, April 12.

The event will be held at Holroyd's historic Linnwood grounds, which will be opened by the The Friends of Linnwood on the day.

Club member and organiser Ken Peters said the event would be great opportunity for people to see some very rare and beautiful old cars.

"We will have around 60 or 70 Triumphs from the '50s right up to the '80s on show," Mr Peters said.

"There will be sports cars, sedans, Triumph Heralds and Stags."

Formed in 1960, the association has more than 300 members, many of whom own Triumphs which are more than 30 years old.

"It's a very strong club," Mr Peters said.

There will be displays at Linnwood House, with Devonshire Teas available.
