The tale of Parramatta’s “flying dentist” William Ewart Hart (aka Billy Hart) will be recounted at a free talk by Beverley McClymont of the Parramatta & District Historical Society on March 19.
On Parramatta's foundation day November 3, 1911, Billy Hart made one of the earliest and longest flights in New South Wales when he flew from Penrith and landed in Parramatta Park.
Ms McClymont’s illustrated talk will recount the story of his flight along with information about his life and times on Wednesday March 19 in the Burnside Public School Hall, Masons Drive North Parramatta at 7.30pm.
Everyone is very welcome to attend this free event. Supper will be available at the conclusion of the talk.
