Police are investigating a car crash at Pennant Hills Road in North Parramatta Sunday night.
Emergency services and police from The Hills local area command responded to the crash between a Subaru WRX and a Holden Commodore utility about 9pm.
The Suburu driver, a 31-year-old man, was trapped for a short time before being released. He was taken to Westmead Hospital with non-life threatening in injuries.
The driver of the Holden, a 31-year-old man, was breath tested at the scene with a negative result and was uninjured.
One lane on Pennant Hills Road was closed for a couple of hours but has since re-opened.
Officers are now investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision.
