Man shot at Railway Parade Granville

Police are investigating after a man was shot in Granville this afternoon.

About 4pm today, police were called to the intersection of Railway Parade and South Street after reports of a man being shot.

Rosehill police arrived at the scene and found a 28-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his leg.

He was taken to Westmead Hospital for treatment of his non-life threatening injury.

Detectives are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident and are appealing for anyone with information to contact the police.

A man was arrested at the scene after he allegedly hindered police.
