Parramatta police have arrested a 30-year-old man in connection with the fatal stabbing of a man at Pendle Hill this morning.
Officers arrested him in Hallmark Street soon after the stabbing at about 7.45am.
He was taken to Merrylands police station where he is assisting detectives from Holroyd Local Area Command and Homicide Squad with their investigation.
Police were called to Pendle Way when a man was found suffering a wound to his chest.
He was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance Paramedics before being taken to Westmead Hospital where he died.
The identity of the dead man is yet to be confirmed.
Crime scenes have been established in Pendle Way and Hallmark Street.
