Architectural pearls on show

The Pearls of Granville exhibition is being held at the Information and Cultural Exchange in Parramatta.

The exhibition showcases the iPad-based artworks used during the Pearls of Granville minibus tour.

The tour was part of the 2013 Sydney Architecture Festival.

Exhibit looks at human suffering

Influenced by the horrors of the war and inspired by examples of human compassion, A Way Out is an art show like no other.

Parramatta Artists Studios resident Tarik Ahlip will showcase his artwork at the Palmera and Amnesty International exhibition on Friday and Saturday.

Each artwork tells an inspirational story on human suffering.

Stereotypes exposed

I'M NO PRINCESS is an art exhibition that explores the products and media targeted at young woman and girls.

Parramatta Artists Studios resident Linda Wilken has based her work on society's expectations to conform to stereotypical ideals and body image.

The artwork also delves into the effect these expectations have on health and society.

See Brescia perform her art

As a practising artist and art teacher, Linda Brescia has work held in public and private collections.

She will perform at three SafARI venues throughout March.

Catch Brescia perform her art at The Corner in Chippendale on Saturday, March 15; Alaska Projects in Elizabeth Bay on Saturday, March 22 and The Cross Arts Project in Kings Cross on Saturday, March 29.
