Police have charged two men after a woman was stabbed at a house in Granville yesterday afternoon.
About 3.40pm on Wednesday, two men, aged 29 and 30, were at a home on Hudson Street and allegedly started arguing.
The two men then allegedly became physical, picking up pieces of furniture and threatening each other.
Police allege the the 30-year-old then threatened the other man with a knife.
A 70-year-old woman, who was also present, allegedly attempted to stop the fighting and was stabbed in the left arm.
Police were contacted and Rosehill Local Area Command and Specialist Forensic officers attended and started an investigation.
The woman was taken to Auburn Hospital for treatment to the laceration.
The two men were arrested and taken to Parramatta Police Station.
The 30-year-old was charged with affray and armed with intent to commit an indictable offence and was refused bail to appear at Parramatta Local Court on Thursday.
