Parramatta will come to life on Friday, February 14 with the sounds of roaring drums, bright colours, delicious Asian cuisine and a jammed-packed schedule of activities and entertainment to welcome in the Lunar New Year.
Residents and visitors to the area are invited to take part in several cultural festivities as well as see roving performances along the Church Street Mall.
There will be traditional dragon and lion dance, music and dance performances, kung fu demonstrations and meet the god of wealth who will bring you luck in the New Year.
Children won't be forgotten among the action.
They can learn about Asian cultures with interactive workshops including lantern-making, traditional Chinese knotting and paper folding, henna tattoos and craft workshops.
There will be an array of Asian food stalls to try Chinese and Nepalese dumplings, Korean barbecue and Thai foodi.
The Lunar Bar will open for one night only and DJ Masta Tea will play Asian pop hits for revellers to groove to.
Plus, karaoke will launch into action from 6.30pm.
Capacity is limited so make sure you get in early.
The Lunar New Year Twilight Festival is on Friday, February 14, from 4.30pm to 9.30pm in the Church Street Mall.
