Parramatta residents can taste-test the many varieties, tastes and flavours of local beers at an event on Wednesday.
A southern-style barbecue will pop up in the middle of the Riverside Brewing Company next Wednesday, as part of the Sydney Craft Beer Week.
The brewery will bring Smokey O’s American-style cuisine, cooked over charcoal and wood, to match their ‘hop-driven’ ales.
The barbecue is one of two events to be held in western Sydney.
Courtney’s Brasserie in Parramatta will host a degustation dinner on Tuesday — it will feature the local brewery’s beer.
The brasserie’s restaurant manager Paul Cook said the partnership fits in with the restaurants ethos.
“We support regional produce and we thought it’s a great concept to support a great brewery,” Mr Cook said.
The Sydney Craft Beer Week organiser Mark David said the event will be fuelled by a passion for beer.
