THERE is still time to register for the Hills News M2 Run for the Hills.
If running is not your thing you can help by sponsoring our event ambassadors Channel Ten presenter Magdalena Roze and Youth Olympic hurdler Michelle Jenneke.
Run for the Hills is an eight-kilometre fun run on Sunday, October 20, that raises money for Lifestart, an organisation providing early childhood intervention for children with a disability or delay.
Run for the Hills will be followed by a free family festival on Main Street, Castle Hill, from 10am to 4pm.
The festival includes The Designer Market, free kids zoo and pony rides, free carnival rides, a pop-up park, a free outdoor movie screening at 3pm and live entertainment including Australian boy band What About Tonight at 12.30pm.
The first 500 entrants will receive a gift bag with goodies, a medal, an event wristband and breakfast courtesy of Sanitarium or fresh fruit courtesy of Virgin Active Norwest.
And all entrants go into a draw for a Lorna Jane wardrobe worth $500.
Reach for the Rainbow founder Yvonne Keane said donations would make a "huge difference to Lifestart childrens' lives". "Please help us change the lives of children with a disability or delay," she said.
