Parramasala is back with a bang with a jam-packed line-up of theatre, music and dance to celebrate the cultures of Asia and Parramatta’s diverse communities.
Prince Alfred Park will host a giant paint-by-numbers, story readings, performance groups, dancing and more than 40 outdoor stalls at the Masala Markets with authentic culinary meals.
Three documentaries exploring spirituality, sexuality, family and tradition by award-winning Indian filmmakers Anjali Monteiro and K.P Jayasankar will be screened while the ‘King of Bollywood’ Shahrukh Khan shimmying his way through the festival’s closing night at Allphones Arena, Homebush.

The Prince Alfred Park stage will host a number of acts for the festival’s final days including Mallakhamb Acrobats at 12.50pm and 3.15pm and Indonesian dancer Nyoman Sumerti at 1.15pm.
