Girraween author Drew Lindsay has again topped Amazon's best seller list for Australian and Oceanic Drama with his 11th e-book Dying in Paradise.
The novel sees hard bitten ex-police detective Ben Hood go head to head with dishonest financial advisers who have embezzled millions of dollars from an elderly woman who lives in a penthouse on Queensland's Gold Coast.
Lindsay turned to writing after his career as an insurance fraud investigator ended.
"My career has not been writing," he said.
"It's been policing and investigation and now . . . through the internet it's gone mad.
"Where I never could sell a book to save my life, suddenly I've got thousands of books going all over the place. I still can't believe it."
Dying in Paradise is a stand-alone sequel to another of Lindsay's novels The Dead Woman's House, which was set on St Helena Island near Moreton Bay.
Both are available in electronic format from Amazon Kindle, Apple iTunes, Barnes and Noble Nook, Kobo, Sony and all other eReader sites.
