Four men, ranging in age from 17 to 66, have been arrested after a four month police investigation into drug supply in the Parramatta CBD.
Police arrested the men on Wednesday after launching Operation ONO in May this year to investigate the supply of prohibited and prescription drugs in Parramatta and the surrounding area.
A 43-year-old Guildford man was charged with possess prohibited drug and two counts of supply prohibited drug. He appeared at Parramatta Local Court on Wednesday.
A 51-year-old North Parramatta man was charged with supply restricted substance.
A 66-year-old Parramatta man was charged with supply prohibited drug.
A 17-year-old Parramatta male was charged with supply prohibited drug.
The three Parramatta men are expected to appear at Parramatta Local Court court on Monday, October 14.
Detective Sergeant Adrian Prisk, who is part of the Operation ONO investigation, said the arrests were the result of the ongoing operation undertaken by officers from within the Region.
“The arrests on Wednesday are the result of ongoing investigations into drug-related crime in the Parramatta area over the last four months and the hard work undertaken by all officers involved," Detective Sergeant Prisk said.
“As investigations continue, we will continue to focus on drug-related activity in Parramatta and surrounding areas."
