Three men have been charged after an armed robbery at a North Parramatta supermarket on Wednesday night.
Two men armed with guns threatened works at a supermarket in North Parramatta about 6pm before they escaped with stolen cash into a car driven by a third man.
Robbery and Serious Crime Squad detectives, assisted by the Tactical Operations Unit, arrested a 20-year-old man at Crimea Street in Parramatta just after 7pm.
An 18-year-old man was arrested at a unit on James Ruse Drive in Rosehill, about 1am on Thursday with a third man, aged 19, arrested at Parramatta train station about 11am.
Police said detectives seized a bag linked to the robbery that contained an air rifle, a hammer, a knife and other items
All three men were charged with robbery whilst armed with a dangerous weapon.
The 18-year-old was additionally charged with four counts of robbery whist armed with a dangerous weapon, relating to robberies at a hotel in Auburn in June, and at stores and a hotel in Berala, Lalor Park and Rosehill in August.
All three were refused bail with the 18-year-old man to appear at Fairfield Local Court and the 19 and 20-year-olds to appear at Parramatta Local Court on Thursday.
