Two men facing court following investigations into breaking and entering

Property Crime Squad detectives have arrested two men, one from Merrylands and one from Wentworthville and seized televisions, tools, and cold and flu tablets suspected of being stolen following investigations into a commercial break and enter.

Strike Force Linus is a Property Crime Squad investigation into commercial break and enters, including the theft of 451 Soniq-brand televisions from a commercial premise at Prestons between March 13 and 14.

Yesterday, March 22 police executed six search warrants at homes and storage units in Sydney's west and south west.

Investigators seized more than 200 televisions and other items suspected of being stolen, including a large number of trade-quality hand tools and cold and flu tablets. Breaking equipment was also seized.

A 32-year-old man arrested at Merrylands was charged with aggravated break and enter in company, and dispose of stolen property.

A 39-year-old man arrested at Wentworthville was charged with four counts of recklessly deal with the proceeds of crime.

Both men were refused bail and are expected to appear at Parramatta Local Court today, Saturday, March 23.

Investigations are continuing.
