Weapons and drugs were seized in Rydalmere after police attended a Victoria Road house following a domestic dispute on March 18.
During their routine inquiries officers from allegedly uncovered a firearm that had been stashed in a garbage bin, and a number of pills (suspected to be MDMA) inside the house.
After a more thorough search officers found a silver handgun, crossbow, two spearguns, a throwing knife, pills and drug paraphernalia, mobile phones, laptops and ledgers and a set of counterfeiting plates for $100 notes.
There were also a number of dogs and snakes kept inside the house.
A 37-year-old man was arrested at the scene and taken to Parramatta police station where he was interviewed and released without charge pending further inquires.
