A man has been assaulted during a home invasion at Parramatta on Satuday night.
About 6:15pm, March 16, a man and woman were sitting in the lounge room of their unit on O’Reilly Street when they heard the rear gate open.
Three men then entered the premises via the back door before assaulting the man as he sat on the sofa. During the incident he was punched several times to the head and arms sustaining minor injuries.
The woman was threatened with an electronic stun device before the trio fled.
The attackers were seen getting into a small four door hatchback which was parked nearby.
Police were called to the premises and established a crime scene which was examined by forensic officers.
Parramatta detectives are now investigating the incident and are looking for the three men involved.
The first man is described as being 180 centimetres tall with a muscular build and long black dread-locked hair pulled back in a pony tail.
The other two men are described as being 180 centimetres tall with muscular builds, about 100 kilograms in weight with short black hair. All three were wearing black t-shirts and track pants.
