Westmead littlies turn showbag testers

Fifteen children from The Children’s Hospital at Westmead were given the enviable task of testing this year’s Royal Easter Show showbags before anyone else.

They visited Sydney Olympic Park on Wednesday, ahead of the 2013 Sydney Royal Easter Show, for a sticky beak of the more than 300 showbags going on sale from March 21, the start of the show.

Their day started with face painting and time at the petting zoo before the kids were "let loose" in the show bag hall, a hospital spokeswoman said.

Each child got to select three show bags to take home with them, she said.
