An employee at a Pendle Hill petrol station was menaced by two men armed with a gun and knife, who demanded money from the register last night.
Police said the two armed robbers entered the petrol station on Wentworth Avenue about 11.45pm, on Wednesday.
The man armed with a handgun approached the attendant and threatened him with the pistol while demanding money, police said.
He was handed a small amount of cash before both men ran from the store towards Bungaree Road.
Police were called and searched the area with the help of the dog squad but did not find any suspects.
They are now looking for two men, the first described as being 165 centimetres tall, with an athletic build, he was wearing a black jacket and grey pants at the time of the robbery.
The second offender was described as having a slim build; he was wearing a black jacket with a motif on the front and red or maroon coloured pants.
