Man in hospital after assault in Prospect

UPDATED: 10 men have been charged after a man was rushed to Westmead Hospital with ‘‘serious facial injuries’’ from an assault in Prospect last night.

Police said they were called to reports of a man being assaulted at Stoddard Road, about 9pm on Wednesday, and found the victim with serious injuries to his face.

Officers arrested at least 10 men at a business on the same road and they were questioned at Blacktown and Mount Druitt police stations.

Police have now charged 10 men over the bashing. Two Seven Hills men, 33, and 19, a Toongabbie man, 22, a Wentworthville man, 25, a Blacktown man, 29, a Wentworth Point man, 32, a Glendenning man, 20, a Bligh Park man, 28, and an Oakhurst man, 41, will face Blacktown and Mount Druitt courts today.
