A person was trapped and James Ruse Drive closed after an accident between a car and truck at Rosehill about 1.15pm on Friday.
The accident occurred in a southbound lane at the the intersection with Prospect Street at Rosehill.
Traffic lights at the intersection were blacked out and police were directing traffic.
The spokeswoman for the Traffic Management Service said a person or persons were trapped after the accident.
