Cherrybrook man crashes into five cars during police pursuit 

A 21-year-old man Cherrybrook man led police on a chase through Baulkham Hills on Friday and crashed into five cars on Windsor Road.

Police noticed the man at 7.45pm after he drove through a red light at the intersection of Old Northern Road and Windsor Road.

The provisional driver was pulled over a short distance away but allegedly sped off after police got out of their car to approach the man’s vehicle.

The chase was terminated when police lost sight of the car.

Five minutes later the man crashed into an ambulance and three other cars before coming to a stop at Marinda Road.

Police later arrested the driver and took him to Westmead Hospital. He remains in a stable condition with no serious injuries.
