Top court action

The Australian Chinese Basketball Association will host the Parramatta Wildcat women and the Hills District Hornets men at Auburn Basketball Stadium this Saturday night.

It will be the first game back at the stadium for former Wildcats head coach Dave Riemer, who will coach the Australian Chinese men.

Pool turns 50

Everyone was in the swim at Parramatta Olympic Pool on Saturday well lots, at least.

More than 200 swimmers from 34 Sydney clubs competed in 96 events through the day. The meet was a celebration of the pool's 50th anniversary. It opened on October 24, 1959.

Merry bowlers

``The more the merrier'' is the motto at Wentworthville Memorial Bowling Club.

The club seeks more bowlers.

Titans host Devils

Toongabbie Titans will host Roselands Devils and Merrylands Magic will be at home to the Raymond Terrace on Sunday in round 10 of the Premier League lawn bowls competition.
