Rain prevents play

Parramatta PCYC Eagles have had yet another NSW Winter Super League game washed out.

The only weekend game played was the 2-2 draw between FC Bossy Liverpool and Sydney Spirit FC at Liverpool.

The Eagles now have three deferred matches to be played midweek when rain permits.

Parramatta are scheduled to meet the Northern Tigers at Melita Stadium next Saturday at 7.30pm.

The Granville Rage are up against Central Coast Lightning at Garside Park, Granville.

McKenzie takes charge

Tina McKenzie will captain the the Gliders team that will contest a four-nations tournament in Canada next month.

The Wenty Leagues Wheelkings player is already a dual Paralympian and was a member of the team that won wheelchair basketball bronze in China last year.

Moore gets Aust nod

Parramatta's Harriet Moore will line up for the Jillaroos in the junior world cup in Boston in August.

Hockey's Moore is one of seven NSW players in the squad.
