Masters football fever

15 Oct, 2009 11:06 AM
Bernie Mullane Sports Complex was buzzing with Master Games activity this week. The Kellyville grounds are hosting the football where players and teams from across the world are competing for a chance at claiming the Games gold medal.

Flying the flag for The Hills this week are the Kellyville Kolts Soccer Club, (over men's 35s pictured in red, white and black), the over 50s team, Baulkham Vills and the Villeans (over 45s, both teams made up of Baulkham Hills and Kellyville players). Also, Mink Ya FC, (also pictured against Kellyville) made up of players hailing from The Hills, Toongabbie, Bosley Park and Wetherill Park) are in the over 35s competition. Pictured here, the Kolts defeated Mink Ya FC 6-1 on Wednesday. The Hills Centenary Park and Valentine Sports Park are also hosting the Masters Games football competition. Final are held this weekend.
