Police have charged a woman over a violent home invasion at Guildford late last year.
Holroyd Police have been conducting inquiries into an incident which occurred on December 4, in which a 21-year-old man was brutally bashed by four male intruders who forced entry to his Clement Street home.
Yesterday, February 8, a 25-year-old Guildford woman attended Merrylands Police Station and was taken into custody.
She was questioned in relation to the incident before being charged with one count of special aggravated break and enter and refused bail to appear in Fairfield Local Court today, February 9.
Police will allege the woman organised the attack on the victim, her de facto’s brother, in response to a road rage incident at Granville earlier in the day.
He was left with severe injuries, including lacerations and bruising, as a result of the incident.
One of the alleged intruders has already been charged by police and is currently before the courts.
Investigators are continuing their inquiries to identify and locate his three co-offenders.
