WENTY Leagues hosted dignitaries, sportspeople and the best local sporting teams on Sunday to celebrate the successes of the club's sport efforts in 2011.
The guest speaker of the night was racing legend Malcolm "Miracle" Johnston. Johnston gave an inspiring speech about the importance of using your gifts in everything you do.
"Everyone has a gift that they need to find," Johnston said. "I was lucky to find my gift. God just tapped me on the shoulder and said 'Malcolm, you're a jockey'."
The night paid tribute to Wenty's best sportspeople, teams and clubs of the past year.

¦ Young team of the Year: Under 15s Division 1 (W'ville United Junior Rugby League Football Club)
¦ Coach of the Year: Lauren Fearnley (W'ville Leagues Netball Club)
¦ Club of the Year: W'ville Leagues Golf Club
¦ Unsung Hero: John "Emu" Stephenson (W'ville Leagues Mens' Bowls Club, W'ville Leagues Cricket Club, W'ville District Rugby League Football Club).
