STATE Opposition health spokeswoman Jillian Skinner blamed the state government for long waiting times for neurosurgery at Westmead Hospital.
She said up to 200 patients had to wait up to 17 months for neurosurgery at the hospital with waiting lists across the state at an all time high of more than 66,000 patients.
``This is just one department in one major hospital in Labor's broken NSW health system,'' Mrs Skinner said.
