Police investigate Pendle Hill stabbing

Parramatta Police are investigating the stabbing of a man at Pendle Hill last night.

NSW Ambulance personnel attended the Birtles Avenue residence just after 9pm on Thursday, July 2 to treat the 44-year-old man who was suffering knife wounds to the chest and arm.

The man was taken to Westmead Hospital for treatment. His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

Investigations are continuing to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident and identify the offender however, its believed it might be domestic-related.

Anyone with information that might assist investigating officers is urged to contact Parramatta Police Station via Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
